Promised Land Delete Account
Deleting your Promised Land account
Promised Land is a board game published by Reino Eterno. You can play it without an account; an account exists only so you can play online games against people who are not in the room with you.
This page explains how to delete that account and everything attached to it, and exactly what is removed and what is kept.
How to delete your account from inside the game
- Open Promised Land and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Open Your account. It is reached either from the account button at the top of the welcome screen, or from the account menu in the Online Games lobby.
- Choose Delete account, then Send confirmation code. We email a code to the address on the account, because deletion is permanent and holding an unlocked phone is not proof that the mailbox is yours.
- Enter the code and choose Delete my account.
The code expires after 30 minutes. If it does, ask for another one.
If you cannot sign in
If you have forgotten your password, use the sign-in screen’s password reset first, then follow the steps above.
If you cannot reach the account at all, write to contact@reinoeterno.online from the address the account uses and ask for it to be deleted. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your email address.
- Your display name.
- Your sign-in credentials, held by our authentication provider.
- Any table you had created but had not yet started — nobody else can start it, so it goes with you — together with the seats and invitations on it.
- Your email address on the seats of games already under way.
- Every pending code issued for your account: email verification, password reset, and the deletion code itself.
What is kept, and why
-
Games that were already under way continue, and your seat stays on the board under the display name you were playing as. Those games belong to the other players as much as to you: the board, the turn order and the history would be destroyed for them if the seat vanished mid-game. The seat carries no address and no link to any account after deletion, so it can no longer be signed into or matched to anyone.
-
Server logs may still contain the IP addresses and requests of your last sessions. They are deleted on a rolling 30-day cycle and are used only to operate and secure the service.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Registering again with the same email address creates a new, empty account — it does not restore the old one or its games.
Data stored on your own device
Games you play offline, by passing the device around, never reach us. They live in the app’s own storage on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app. If your device has system backup
switched on, Android may hold a copy of that app data in your own Google account; that copy is yours, not ours, and you control it in your device’s backup settings.
